Job Description

 

Are you passionate about engineering and eager to gain real-world experience in semiconductor manufacturing? 

STMicroelectronics (Malta) Ltd. is looking for enthusiastic Process Engineering Apprentices to join our dynamic Assembly Process Engineering team. This is your chance to work with cutting-edge technology, develop valuable skills, and make a real impact on product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

 

This is a 12-month internship with the possibility of extension, offering you a unique opportunity to grow and contribute in a world-class environment.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in analysing various attributes on production materials to improve Yield & Quality.
  • Measure, document and analyse the data from measurements equipment.
  • Assist in planning New Product/Processes Introduction to production.
  • Help manage process improvement projects, including planning and tracking progress.
  • Conduct analysis on materials in the various Labs (Incoming/Plating/Failure Analysis/Reliability).

 

Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate shall:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools including Power BI. 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Good communication skills.
