About the Role

2027 SUMMER ASSOCIATE PROGRAM
D.Law is a reputable, fast-growing litigation law firm specializing in plaintiff-side employment law. We are offering a 10-week structured intensive summer associate training program to prepare future lawyers for the practice of law as plaintiff’s employment attorneys. Our summer associates will have a dedicated and experienced litigation attorney to mentor and teach them the ins and outs of the practice of law as a plaintiff-side litigator.
Area of Practice: D.Law exclusively practices labor and employment law, working on behalf of employees with a focus on wage and hour class / PAGA actions and single-plaintiff FEHA / termination actions.
Title: Summer Associate

Location: Pasadena, CA (on-site/in-person)


Program Dates/Hours: 06/01/2027 through 08/07/2027 (Full-Time, 40+ hours a week)


Pay Rate: $45 per hour


Minimum Requirements: Completed second year of law school in a traditional three-year program (or equivalent grade level).


Duties and Responsibilities: Summer associates will gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced attorneys on high-profile actively litigated cases. They will engage in substantive legal work, receive mentorship, and participate in professional development opportunities to jumpstart their legal career.


General Skills Required: The ideal candidates will be confident, energetic, and sharp future attorneys who are quick-on-their-feet thinkers and are ready to be aggressive and creative future litigators for adversarial, fast-paced litigation.


Computer Skills Preferred:

• Microsoft Outlook / Word / Excel

• Adobe Acrobat / Apple Operating System


Language Skills: Fluent in English (spoken & written). Spanish is a plus.
