About the role

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Talent Acquisition Intern to join our People and Culture (P&C) team for 12 months. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience, learn the inner workings of P&C, and contribute to creating an exceptional employee experience. What You'll Do:

As a key player on our P&C team, you'll be involved in a wide variety of tasks, from managing recruitment processes to supporting key HR initiatives. Your contributions will make a real impact on how we attract and retain top talent at Morningstar. Some of your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating interviews and distributing assessments for various roles, ensuring smooth communication between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Posting job openings across college networks, job boards, and social media platforms to expand our pool of qualified candidates.
  • Partnering with the HR team on exciting projects like recruiting, training, employee communications, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and process improvements.
  • Maintaining and updating employee records using cutting-edge HR systems, giving you exposure to enterprise cloud technologies.
  • Administering background checks for new hires and following up with candidates to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Troubleshooting any HR-related issues and assisting managers and leaders in creating a positive, thriving work environment.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive, and ready to grow.

  • You have outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • You have proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook (Excel lovers, you’re welcome!).
  • You are fluent in English
  • Preferably fluent in Spanish
  • You are a self-starter mindset with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • You have a passion for continuous improvement and making meaningful contributions to our team.
  • You have prior experience in recruiting, HR, or customer service is a plus but not required—we’re excited to help you learn and grow

Base Salary: €17,023.58

Base Salary Compensation Range

We expect the compensation and target bonus for this role to fall within the stated range. The specific compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
