Founders Associate - Operations & Fundraising (Working Student, m/w/d)

<p>JawBuddy is a CE-marked medical product for digital self-therapy of bruxism and TMJ disorders (CMD). The app combines augmented reality with medical algorithms to guide users through targeted jaw, neck, and posture exercises — with precise feedback on every movement.</p> <p>Built by our team in Leipzig, JawBuddy has 2,000+ active users, our first health insurance partnerships are ready to launch, and we are currently closing our pre-seed round with VCs and experienced business angels. Now we are turning a working medical product into a growing company — that is what this role is for.</p> <h2 id="aufgaben">Aufgaben</h2> <p>You work directly with the founders as their operational right hand, with real responsibility from week one. You own 2–3 projects at a time and share your results directly with the founders every week.</p> <ul> <li>Drive the development of our next MVP end-to-end — partner scouting, selection, and steering</li> <li>Build and run the operational processes behind our health insurance go-lives</li> <li>Help prepare our next financing round: data room, investor pipeline, and materials</li> <li>Turn open questions into structured recommendations the team can act on that week</li> </ul> <h2 id="qualifikation">Qualifikation</h2> <p>Must-haves:</p> <ul> <li>Enrolled as a student, with 18–20 hours/week available during the semester</li> <li>German (B2 or above) plus strong written English - our partner and insurance work is German-market</li> <li>Structured, self-directed working style: you break fuzzy problems into plans and close loops unprompted</li> <li>Reliable coordination of external partners: follow-ups, deadlines, and early flags instead of surprises</li> </ul> <p>Nice to have (none of these are required - if the must-haves fit, please apply):</p> <ul> <li>First exposure to startups, consulting, venture building, or healthcare</li> <li>No-code, spreadsheet, or light analytics skills (e.g. Notion, Zapier, Airtable)</li> <li>Curiosity about how startup fundraising works - you will learn the rest here</li> </ul> <h2 id="benefits">Benefits</h2> <ul> <li>€15–19/hour, remote-first, flexible around lectures and exam phases</li> <li>Real ownership with weekly founder feedback - across product, operations, and a live financing round</li> <li>A concrete path: working students who excel here are our first choice for full-time roles post-fundraise</li> </ul> <p>Apply with your CV and 5–10 sentences on a project you drove end-to-end — the goal, what you did, and the outcome.
