Video Editor Intern

We are looking for a creative and business-oriented Video Editor & Social Media Associate who can transform long-form business podcasts into engaging content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.

The ideal candidate should understand how to create content that drives engagement, builds personal brands, and increases reach in the B2B space. This role goes beyond editing and involves identifying valuable business insights, creating compelling short-form content, and supporting social media growth.

Key Responsibilities

Podcast & Video Editing

• Edit long-form business podcasts and interviews.
  
• Create engaging reels, shorts, and social media clips from podcast episodes.
  
• Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, and branding elements.
  
• Ensure high-quality audio and video output.
  

Social Media Content Creation

• Repurpose podcast content into LinkedIn posts, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  
• Identify key business insights, founder stories, and industry trends from podcasts.
  
• Create content that improves audience engagement and brand visibility.
  
• Develop attention-grabbing hooks and storytelling-driven edits.
  

Social Media Management

• Assist in managing LinkedIn and Instagram content calendars.
  
• Schedule and publish content across social platforms.
  
• Monitor engagement metrics and suggest improvements.
  
• Stay updated with the latest social media trends and platform updates.
  

Requirements

Required Skills :

• Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar editing tools.
  
• Understanding of short-form content and social media algorithms.
  
• Ability to create engaging captions and subtitles.
  
• Basic knowledge of LinkedIn and Instagram content strategies.
  
• Strong storytelling and content repurposing skills.
  
• Good communication and attention to detail.
  

Preferred Skills :

• Experience editing podcasts or interview-based content.
  
• Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
  
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Opus Clip, Descript, VEED, or Submagic.
  
• Understanding of B2B marketing, personal branding, and founder-led content.
  

Eligibility Criteria :

• Completed 10th, 12th, and Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 70% throughout academics.
  
• Strong interest in video editing, content creation, and social media marketing.
  
• Familiarity with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar software.
  
• Ability to use AI tools for video editing effectively, caption generation, content repurposing, research, and productivity.
  
• Understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and social media trends.
  
• Basic understanding of business, entrepreneurship, startups, and B2B content.
  
• Strong storytelling and content-structuring skills.
  
• Ability to identify key insights and convert long-form content into engaging short-form videos.
  
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality content.
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Portfolio showcasing video editing, reels, shorts, podcasts, or social media content will be preferred.

Promoter Profile

Mudit Jain is the CEO and Founder at Synoriq. He is an IIT Bombay Alumni with experience of 10+ years of working with various banks, HFCs and NFCs. He served as the Country Head for Finmechanics at the very young age of 24. He has also worked with PwC and Diamond Consulting after graduating from IIT Bombay. Before starting Synoriq, he was the co-founder of Qriyo - India’s first managed home tuition app.
