About the Role

The Civil Engineering Corporate department of Munich Re F&C (Facultative & Corporate) provides bespoke insurance solutions to the global civil engineering industry. We support brokers, owner/operators and construction companies to insure construction projects and operational assets with a focus on Europe and North America. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic intern to assist in the day-to-day operations of our dynamic team, based in Munich

 

Your Job

 

  • Supporting engineering underwriters in the daily underwriting process
  • Reviewing submissions and preparing data for risk assessment and pricing
  • Maintaining the data administration systems
  • Reviewing and comparing policies and contracts
  • Assisting in data analytics and portfolio review

 

 Your Profile

 

  • Current field of study: engineering, business administration, economics or similar
  • Excellent IT skills including with the MS Office suite
  • Analytical mindset and good with numbers
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English, other language skills beneficial

 

Candidates with first professional work experience preferred Students from countries outside the EU require a German residence-/work permit. The first master's degree may not have been completed before/during the entire internship.
