About the role:

As a Mechanical Engineer on our Reactor Vessel Internals Team based in Cranberry Township, PA. You will provide technical support for assigned work performed in the reactor vessel internals design and analysis.

 

You will report to the Manager, Reactor Vessel Internals Component Design and be located at Cranberry, PA and work in a hybrid capacity. We will not offer relocation for this position.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform analytical calculations and evaluations using a variety of engineering tools and methods. Develop documentation related to these calculations and analyses.
  • Develop design documentation for safety and non-safety related hardware; this includes manufacturing drawings, functional and design specifications, and qualification reports.
  • Working with technical leads, project managers, and customers in the coordination of activities associated with assigned work scope.
  • Occasionally traveling to customer and manufacturing vendor sites to provide on-site support, deliver presentations, and aid in issue resolution.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics or recognized equivalent required.
  • 0+ years of experience .
  • We prefer completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam.
  • Must have experience with attention to details and excellent communication skills including technical writing.

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. We estimate the base salary range for this position, which depends on qualifications, to be 58,400 to 73,000 per year.
