Your Day-to-Day
As an Intern within our Community Development Civil team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while developing your technical and professional capabilities.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Stormwater drainage modelling and design
- Earthworks modelling and grading
- Swept path analysis and preparing civil drawings using AutoCAD
- Reporting on engineering design tasks
- Supporting Project Managers with financial management and administrative project tasks
You'll collaborate with experienced professionals, learn industry best practices, and gain exposure to a variety of projects and clients within the Community Development team.

About You
We're looking for curious, motivated, and collaborative students who are passionate about making a positive impact in the communities we serve.
You'll ideally:
- Be in your penultimate year of study (completing your degree in 2027).
- Be currently undertaking an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in Civil Engineering
- Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Show initiative, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
- Be committed to delivering sustainable and innovative solutions.
- AU citizen, PR or NZ Citizen
