Key responsibilities in your new role
- Thorough planning: Build and replicate microcontroller-based solutions (prototyping)
- Keep an overview: Monitor temperature, oxygen levels, and additional environmental parameters in a laboratory environment
- Look ahead: Further develop existing sensor systems for measurement applications
- Broaden your horizons: Contribute to the development of a digital label for our tools
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Field of study: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Skills: Knowledge of embedded systems and desktop application programming (e.g., C, C++)
- Experience:
- Working with microcontrollers (ideally ESP32)
- 3D printing experience is desirable
- Experience with sensors
- Prototyping (ideally including soldering)
- Personality: Independent and solution-oriented way of working, combined with strong motivation to learn new things on your own initiative
- Languages: Fluent English skills required; German is an advantage

Important information:
· Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That’s why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
· Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
· You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
