Intel Vietnam is the largest factory in Intel’s global Assembly and Test network and a critical site for our IDM2.0 strategy. The clean room facility is located at Saigon High Tech Park in Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh city. The site is proud of producing Intel’s latest technology chip products including 5G, IoT, Desktop, Mobile, etc.

Join our team as a Module Engineering Intern!

Position 1: AI/ML and Data science development Intern

  • Develops algorithms and applications, performs large scale experimentation, builds data driven apps to translate data into intelligence, and develops solutions for solving business problems using coding. Incorporates predictive modelling, statistics and other analysis techniques for collecting, exploring, interpreting and extracting insights from structured and unstructured data.

  • Organizes, interprets and structures insights from data, detects data anomalies and makes corrections.

  • Performs descriptive statistical analysis, develops visualizations, applications, dashboards, or presentations and communicates insights in a clear and effective way to help the organization with better decision-making.

  • Supports troubleshooting service offerings using proprietary analytical platforms, commercial tools and custom scripts.

  • Drives the design, development and optimization of artificial intelligence/machine learning, deep learning training and inference frameworks, contributes to the research and development of data science activities and supports product development efforts as required.

  • Develops and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyse diverse big data sources, establishing standard methodologies for data science including modelling, coding, analytics, and experimentation.

  • Explores, compiles, and collects data from new or known sources, sometimes in partnership with technical staff/engineers to derive useful insights and/or make predictions.

  • Works with development teams and business units to ensure models are scalable and can be implemented as part of the delivered solution across clients.

Position 2: Robotics, Electrical & Mechatronics Engineering Intern

  • Empowered to lead critical resolution of operational needs for the Assembly process and equipment.

  • Optimize advanced process control systems to detect signals and automate defect containment.

  • Define maintenance and calibration procedures, partnering with technicians and manufacturing teams to sustain equipment OEE standards.

  • Responsible to engage and lead new technology development, product transfers and process integration.

  • Discover breakthrough innovations in process and equipment, with a focus on generating patentable solutions.

  • Spearhead Factory of the Future transformation through AI and Robotics deployment.

  • Actively engaged in our Virtual Factory (VF) network, driving cross site learnings and problem resolution.

Qualifications:

Skills and Qualifications Needed for AI/ML and Data Science Intern

  • Final-year undergraduate in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.

  • Strong programming skills in Python.

  • Solid understanding of Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Generative AI concepts.

  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to commit to on-site work arrangements for 3 to 4 days per week.

  • Ability to commit to a 6-month internship duration.

Hands-on experience with:

  • RAG architectures

  • LangChain / LangGraph

  • Agentic workflow design MCP

  • Knowledge of data processing, and database systems

  • Familiarity with Git and software development best practices

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Skills and Qualifications Needed for Robotics, Electrical & Mechatronics Engineering Intern

  • Final-year undergraduate   in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related disciplines.

  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to commit to on-site work arrangements for 3 to 4 days per week.

  • Ability to commit to a 6-month internship duration.

Strong foundation in:

  • Robotics fundamentals

  • Mechanical design

  • Electrical systems

  • Control systems

  • Experience with CAD design tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or equivalent).

  • Understanding of sensors, actuators, motors, and industrial automation systems.

  • Basic programming skills in Python, C/C++, or MATLAB.

  • Ability to analyze complex engineering problems and propose practical solutions.

  • Hands-on experience with robotic arms, mobile robots, autonomous systems, or industrial automation equipment.

  • Knowledge of ROS/ROS2.

  • Experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems (Arduino, STM32, Raspberry Pi, etc.).

  • Familiarity with machine vision, motion control, or AI applications in robotics.
