WHO YOU ARE

We're looking for a proactive and curious engineering student who is eager to learn in a fast-paced medical device manufacturing environment. You enjoy solving problems, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and turning data into meaningful improvements. You're organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to gain hands-on experience while contributing to projects that have a real impact on product quality and operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support on the manufacturing lines.
  • Support the investigation of NCMRS.
  • Compile industrial engineering data to generate standard work.
  • Utilize statistical analysis tools to assess product and process performance.
  • Generate changes on DHRS, and DMRS based on the release of new part numbers.
  • Support shop floor control process.
  • Train process/molding technicians when needed.
  • Participate in the design, development and testing of new and existing products and equipment.
  • Evaluates new equipment, processes, and participates in the transfer of new products.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and protocols.
  • Leads or assists in process improvement projects and provides technical inputs.
  • Generate, edit, and maintain quality documentation, including but not limited to, departmental documents, procedures, work instructions, templates, and training materials including change orders.
  • Provide technical support to other team members in statistical analysis techniques, experimental design, data analysis, sampling techniques, among others.
  • Participates and provides training on department procedures and policies.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS 
 

Education:

· Current university student majoring in Industrial, Chemical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.

· At least 80% of the career approved (Bachelor´s or Licentiate Degree).

· B1 English level or above

Additional skills:

· Ability in the use of excel, word and PowerPoint. Advanced preferred

· Ability to effectively present information to management and public groups.

· Must be organized and detail oriented.

· Knowledge of statistical analysis tools, Minitab or any equivalent statistical tool is preferred.
