Medical Neurology Internship 2027 – ARH Brisbane, QLD

About the Hospital
ARH Brisbane, a specialist and emergency hospital at Sinnamon Park in Brisbane’s west, opened 9 years ago and has grown steadily since. Our purpose-designed, state of the art hospital offers services in neurology, internal medicine, small animal surgery, critical care, medical and surgical oncology, as well as an after-hours emergency service. Facilities include in-house diagnostic laboratory, ultrasound, digital radiography, CT and MRI scanners and endoscopy.

About the internship
Interns work under the guidance of our medical neurology specialist and registrar, assisted by experienced nursing staff. Interns also have close involvement with our other professional services, including specialists in internal medicine, surgery, diagnostic imaging, critical care and oncology.
Interns are expected to participate in daily rounds and weekly journal club or case presentations.

The position includes 4 weeks of annual leave and 1 week of study leave with a CE allowance. 

Requirements 

  • Candidates must be eligible for veterinary registration in QLD
  • Hold a current radiation licence
  • Have excellent communication skills and work ethic as well as a strong knowledge base on which to build.
  • Clinical experience is desirable but not essential. 

The internship will commence in January 2027 and is for 12 months, with an option to extend to 18 months.
