Job Description

As a BD intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the firm’s business development efforts. Working closely with the Client & Market Development team, you’ll contribute to strengthening our market presence and client relationships.

Your tasks include:

  • Assisting in the preparation and updating of pitch documents and client presentations
  • Conducting in-depth market and competitive research to support strategic initiatives
  • Supporting the organisation of client meetings and events
  • Helping improve our visibility and market positioning
  • Maintaining client-related documents including CVs, capability statements and track records
  • Collaborating with team members, lawyers and partners to collect input for targeted business development initiatives
  • Assisting in the coordination of business development activities

This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience how business development operates within the legal sector.

 

Qualifications

  • You are a bachelor’s or master’s student (preferably in Business Administration, International Relations, Law, Marketing or a related field)
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Helpful and positive attitude
  • Fluency in English, French and proficiency in Dutch
  • Strong computer skills, including web-based research, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel, as well the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure
  • Flexible and ability to work as part of a team
  • Reliable and consistent
  • Affinity with business development, marketing and commercial processes

The internship is onsite, must last at least 6 months, is unpaid, and is part of your academic curriculum.
