Job Description
At Truck Centers, Inc., we’re driven by our purpose—Driving America Forward through our extraordinary people. We’re looking for an part-time IT Intern for the 26-27 school year who’s eager to learn, enjoys solving problems, and wants hands-on experience supporting a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
This is a great opportunity to build real-world technical skills while working alongside a supportive IT team that keeps our business running strong.
What You’ll Do
As an IT Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting our team members with day-to-day technical needs. You’ll gain experience across a wide range of IT functions, including:
- Setting up workstations, including computers, peripherals, and software
- Troubleshooting hardware issues (HDDs, keyboards, mice, etc.)
- Installing and configuring software and security applications
- Building and preparing PCs for use across multiple locations
- Assisting with technology inventory management
- Monitoring IT support requests and updating service tickets
- Partnering with team members to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively
- Supporting additional IT projects and initiatives as needed
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s license with ability to meet insurance requirements is required
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve
- Experience building or repairing PCs and hardware
- Familiarity with Windows environments, operating systems, and basic networking and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with ConnectWise is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills and ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
- A team-first mindset with a willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Must participate in a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
What we offer:
Pay Rate: $18.00-20.00 per hour
