ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in Information Technology, business systems, data analytics, and end-user support within a collaborative nonprofit environment. The IT Intern will gain exposure to real-world technology projects, enterprise applications, data reporting, process improvement initiatives, and help desk operations while working alongside experienced IT professionals.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN & EXPERIENCE
IT Help Desk & Technical Support Experience
The IT Intern will gain valuable experience supporting daily technology operations by:
- Serving as a first-level resource for users experiencing technical issues.
- Assisting staff with hardware, software, and network-related troubleshooting.
- Supporting the setup and configuration of computers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Assisting users with Microsoft 365 applications and other business software tools.
- Managing and documenting support requests, solutions, and technical procedures.
- Providing audio/visual support for meetings, presentations, and conference room technology.
- Participating in equipment inventory, maintenance, and technology deployment projects.
- Collaborating with IT team members to support organizational technology initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Interest in cyber security, business intelligence, automation, or technical support.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and apply new concepts in a professional environment.
