About the Role

Description:

We are looking to fill a writing internship.  Biasly (www.biasly.com) is a political news website that specializes in providing online news to users around the world using the latest A.I. and sentiment rating technology. Intern will apply learnings from writing/english, marketing or political science degree. Applicants can expect to fulfill internship and credit hour requirements prescribed by the university. Flexible with your schedule.  The internship is 150 hours and we ask that you work a minimum of 10-15 hours per week so you can finish the internship within 10-15 weeks or sooner.

 

Specific duties and responsibilities:

·       Write on different topics about politics, policy analysis, media bias, and more.

·       Participate in our writing training program to improve your writing skills including bias weekly education surveys to learn more about media bias.

 

Qualifications:

·      3.0 minimum GPA

·      Excellent communication skills, written, phone

·      Highly analytical and detailed-oriented

·      Reliable, keep all commitments

·      Team player

·      Major or minor is in English, writing, political science or similar degree

·      Writing experience in school or elsewhere preferred

 

Compensation:

This is a non-paid internship. Valuable real world experience and class credit can be earned.
