Orbit Communication Systems, a global leader in advanced communication solutions for aerospace, maritime, and satellite applications, is looking for a motivated Electrical Engineering Student to join our Hardware R&D team.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the development, integration, verification, and validation of cutting-edge communication systems used by leading customers worldwide.
As part of the Hardware team, you will work alongside experienced engineers and participate in a wide range of engineering activities throughout the product development lifecycle. The position provides exposure to multidisciplinary systems, advanced laboratory environments, testing methodologies, and real-world engineering challenges.
Responsibilites
- Support integration, verification, and validation activities for complex electronic and communication systems.
- Execute functional, performance, environmental, and system-level tests.
- Operate laboratory and automated test equipment.
- Analyze test results, investigate failures, and assist in troubleshooting activities.
- Document test procedures, results, and technical findings.
- Assist in the development and improvement of testing processes and test environments.
- Support hardware engineers in laboratory evaluations, measurements, and engineering investigations.
- Participate in product bring-up, integration, and qualification activities.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and system engineers to ensure product performance and reliability.
- Track and report bugs, issues, and corrective actions throughout the testing process.
Requirements
Must Have
- 3rd year Electrical Engineering student from a recognized academic institution.
- Availability to work at least 3 days per week.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Hands-on approach and willingness to learn.
Advantages
