About the Role

Job Description:

As G&C Intern you will be part of broader Pet Nutrition Europe Controllership Team, which constitutes the 3rd tier of the new Controllership operating model.

You will be collaborating intensively across PNE Controllership Team and broader business stakeholders to cascade global policies and processes across the EU PN region– as part of the role of Champions of Quality, Connectors and Interpreters across Finance.


What are we looking for?

  • You are in the 2nd or 3rd year of your studies, ideally in accounting
  • Solid accounting and finance background with track record of delivering results
  • SAP Experience or Equivalent ERP system
  • Experience with financial statement reporting obligations, including an understanding of US GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal controls
  • Up to date knowledge of accounting regulations: Mars GAAP and Mars policies & rules
  • Digitally savvy, with strong user and problem-centric approach
  • Fluent English required

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Oversee implementation of controls framework, controls testing plan and execution, co-lead governance & control agenda
  • Being the champion for controls in all environments, such that associates are aware and feel comfortable contacting and working with, which will provide safe and trusted working environment
  • Attention to delivering agreed 2026 ICE (Internal Control Framework) roadmap including closure of the agreed list of process validation across EU countries.
  • Promoting healthy and safe controls & governance environment (including mindsets and behaviours) via ensuring EU PN associates performing expected training completion
