Role overview:

You’ll have the opportunity to be part of the APAC engineering team of specialists and engineers who support the design, manufacturing, aftermarket, and safety of Rolls-Royce aerospace components globally.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting improvement activities in the Materials Operational Laboratory at Seletar (e.g., space optimisation, digitisation of laboratory data)
  • Supporting daily operational activities within the Seletar Materials team as needed (e.g., Health Safety and Environment, supplier and vendor engagement, calibration, and asset management
  • Assisting with technical activities and related communication materials (e.g., sample preparation, binocular imaging, visual inspections) for failure investigations and/or non-destructive evaluation of engine components
  • Assisting with scouting and researching relevant technologies as required

Who we’re looking for: 

  • Good knowledge preferably in Materials Science, Aerospace, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong communication skills and able to work independently without close supervision and within a team
  • Problem solver, self-motivated with the willingness to learn new skills
