About the Role

As a Concert Marketing Intern with ACL Live at The Moody Theater and ACL Live at 3TEN, you'll engage in experiential learning while providing administrative, event marketing and project coordination support to the Marketing department at ACL Live at The Moody Theater. You'll participate in industry research and trends to grow audiences and brand awareness through marketing channels while gaining exposure to the day-to-day functions of a live music venue. As the ideal candidate, you bring enthusiasm to learn, strong communication skills, and genuine passion for live music and marketing.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain administrative documents related to show promotions, including show listings, advance promotions, and marketing materials to support smooth execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with website updates, journey documents, artwork management, and the assembly of weekly marketing emails (on-sale-now, newsletters, “this week,” etc.) to support announcement and on-sale campaigns.
  • Coordinate the creation and updating of internal and street-level venue signage, including scheduling print delivery to reflect current promotions and event details.
  • Research, compile, and submit event listings to local calendars and online platforms to maximize visibility for upcoming shows and events.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining marketing comp submissions and related tracking as assigned by the marketing team.
  • Support digital and social media efforts by updating Facebook events and other platforms, capturing live content during shows and brand events, and posting in real time.
  • Serve as a marketing representative at brand events, watch parties, and activations, while assisting with additional projects and performing other duties as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program studying Music Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • 1+ years’ completed coursework in Music Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field


Experience

  • Experience in social media marketing, public relations, marketing, media


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Passion for entertainment, hospitality, and marketing
  • Able to take initiative on individual tasks while working collaboratively with a team
  • Positive, proactive, and eager to learn, with the ability to think on your feet and handle new challenges
  • Able to manage multiple workstreams while meeting critical deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, and Asana
  • Strong working knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Meta Business)
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to experience full-cycle business operations

 

Physical Requirements
Speak and hear to communicate and use both near and far vision. Frequently sit with some walking and standing for office/property navigation. Frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs. Continually use gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills for computer use.

 

Working Conditions
In-office position based in venue. Often in entertainment environment with large crowds and elevated noise levels.
