Job Summary

The IT Trainee will provide essential support to our Information Technology department, learning and assisting with various IT operations to ensure the smooth functioning of our systems and infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist senior IT staff with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
* Provide basic technical support to end-users, troubleshooting common IT issues (e.g., password resets, network connectivity, application errors).
* Help manage and organize IT inventory, including tracking assets and performing routine audits.
* Participate in the deployment and imaging of new computers and mobile devices.
* Document IT procedures, solutions, and system configurations.
* Assist with network monitoring and basic server administration tasks.
* Support data backup and recovery processes as instructed.
* Learn and adhere to IT security policies and best practices.
* Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and contribute to solutions.
* Engage in continuous learning to develop skills in various IT domains.

Job Qualifications

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or technical certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, Linux a plus), and networking concepts.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn new technologies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service oriented attitude.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Proactive and detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.
* Fluent in Spanish; English proficiency is a plus.
* Prior internship or volunteer experience in an IT-related role is beneficial but not required.
