About The Company
Our mission is to create boundary-blurring spaces where students, travelers, mobile professionals, creative nomads and enterprising minds can connect and thrive in smart design co- living and co-working spaces.   Following the launch of co-working space TSH COLLAB, The Student Hotel is now a Complete Connected Community. The debut TSH COLLAB facility is located at our flagship hotel, The Student Hotel Amsterdam City, and offers flexi-desk space, dedicated offices, mini classrooms as well as access to an Olympic-size lap pool (SwimGym), a world-class gym, an auditorium, restaurant, constant connectivity, endless inspiration and excellent coffee. This is the final piece in our fully-integrated co-living and co-working world.    The Student Hotel will introduce membership-based workspaces and related perks to all our existing and new locations.   We will expand to 65 locations in 5 years time, with at least 17,550 rooms and over 620,000 square meters of co-living and co-working space in the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, France and Germany making us the leading connected community hybrid provider in Europe.
About the Role

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It

Rome is buzzing and our membership spaces are right at the heart of it. As our Membership Intern, you’ll be one of the first faces people see and the reason they want to come back. From welcoming new members to showing future ones around the hub, you’ll help turn curious visitors into part of the community. You’ll learn how our spaces run day to day while helping members make the most of everything The Social Hub Rome has to offer.

Some days you’ll be chatting with members over coffee. Other days you’ll be guiding tours, helping organize events or sharing your favourite spots in the city with guests. No two shifts look the same and that’s exactly the point.

If you enjoy meeting people, love a lively atmosphere and want to learn the ins and outs of hybrid hospitality, you’ll feel right at home here.

In Case You Don’t Know Who We Are

Known for being the rule breakers in hospitality, TSH is a fun, creative and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn and play and most importantly – be themselves. As an employer we look, act and think like a hotel, but instead we offer a lot more. Think student accommodation, long and short stay options, gyms, talks, events, rooftop bar and eat & drink escapes as well as community and coworking spaces. Located in The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, and the UK, with several new openings on the way, this hybrid hospitality concept may take root in the heart of Europe, but our plans are set for going global.

What You’ll Do

  • Welcome members and guests into the membership space and make them feel at home from the moment they walk in
  • Lead tours of the hub and introduce future members to everything we offer
  • Support member onboarding and help new members settle into the community
  • Share insider tips about Rome’s best spots for food, culture, shopping and nightlife
  • Help answer membership enquiries and explain our different membership options
  • Assist with emails, offers, bookings and membership-related admin tasks
  • Keep the membership areas organized, welcoming and ready for the next shift
  • Support community events and help bring our vibrant member community to life

What You’ll Have

  • You are currently enrolled at a university within the EU
  • You are studying Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field
  • You bring a positive, hands-on attitude and enjoy meeting new people
  • You are organized and comfortable juggling different tasks throughout the day
  • You enjoy both teamwork and taking initiative when needed
  • You are fluent in Italian and English. Extra languages are always a plus
  • You are available for a full-time internship of 40 hours per week for 6 months

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to work at a dynamic, multi-national company. Not just another hotel - we’re a game changing innovator, challenging every convention and defining the future.
  • The opportunity to work for a Certified B Corp® company that balances profit with positive impact, collaborating with organizations like Movement on the Ground and the TSH Talent Foundation to create meaningful change
  • The chance to learn and grow in your role with the potential for future growth.
  • Awesome discounts in all our properties in Europe and not just for you, but also for your friends and family!
  • A wonderful workplace to call home, full of events, fun colleagues and all the other amazing salary/benefits stuff.

At The Social Hub, we believe pay should be fair and consistent. That's why we carefully determine your starting salary based on the role, your assessed proficiency, and our salary framework. We make our best and fairest offer upfront, so we don't negotiate salaries. Because fairness shouldn’t depend on who negotiates best.

  • Compensation: a monthly internship allowance of 500€ (curricular internship)

Who you are, is how we want you to be. To us, hybrid hospitality goes across the board, from how we service our guests to how we represent ourselves. Here, everyone belongs, and we welcome people no matter their nationality, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion or culture. Your authenticity keeps our team diverse. Come as you are.
