Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)

About The Role:

•    Designs well trajectory as per requirements and optimize well profile, designs drill string and bottom whole assemblies / Inspection.•    Prepares rig mobilization, demobilization, rig orientation diagram and WHTP approach plans.
•    Designs and prepares wellhead casing and cementing programs to meet expected conditions and ensure well integrity.
•    Specifies bit selection, hydraulics, rotary speed and bit weight programs, prepares the drilling mud program, prepares the bottom whole assembly program.
•    Prepares the directional drilling program including collision avoidance, produces and progress time-depth and cost-depth curves for the drilling phase including simultaneous drilling & production operations.
•    Prepares the well evaluation program (LWD /or wireline logging, coring), produces an assessment of special drilling problems might occur (lost returns, well control, well stability, stuck pipe)
•    Prepares and optimizes well drilling, completion and workover procedures, prepares specification of material and equipment requirements, selection of well drilling, completion and workover equipment, selection of drilling and completion materials (mud, brine, chemicals)
•    Conducts technical reviews and verification of well completion design, prepares a well abandonment program, prepare cost estimates and AFEs for the drilling phase.

Supervision
•    Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
•    Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.
Budgets
•    Provide input for preparation of the Section / Department budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives. 
•    Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
•    Implement approved Section / Department policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Section’s / Department work programs in line with Company and International standards.
Performance Management
•    Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Section / Department in line with the Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
•    Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
•    Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
•    Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
Reports
•    Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

Minimum Qualification

Qualification & Experience:

•BSc. Engineering degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering.

•Minimum of 5 years of experience in well integrity assurance, well completion design, and stimulation
operations for high-pressure, high-temperature wells.
