Customer Experience Intern - EF Language Abroad
What if your first job actually changed lives, including your own?
At EF Language Abroad, we believe that learning a language abroad is one of the most transformative experiences a person can have. And we need passionate, driven people to help make that happen. That's where you come in.
We're looking for a Customer Experience Intern to join our team in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This is your chance to kick off your career in a global company, work alongside an energetic and ambitious team, and help young people navigate one of the most exciting journeys of their lives.
You'll play a key role in our post-sales process: supporting students from the moment they enroll until the day they board their flight. No two days look the same - just real learning, real impact, and a team that's genuinely rooting for you from day one.
Your main responsibilities:
Customer Experience
- Support the payment processing flow, helping monitor incoming payments and assisting customers with different payment methods and any related concerns.
- Assist customers with next steps after enrollment, ensuring they clearly understand the required documentation, timelines, and pre-departure preparations.
- Help coordinate visa processes, supporting customers in gathering the necessary documents and completing applications accurately and on time.
- Contribute to travel confirmation, assisting with the verification of flight details, accommodation, and airport transfers, and ensuring all travel documents are delivered within established deadlines.
- Support the handling of changes in travel plans, including rebooking and cancellations, acting as a point of contact for the customer.
- Help maintain regular communication with our partner schools abroad, ensuring smooth information flow between all parties.
Beyond the Desk - A Little Bit of Everything
As part of a dynamic team, you'll occasionally get involved in supporting internal processes, contributing to customer satisfaction initiatives, and collaborating with the broader team to ensure an exceptional experience for every student we send abroad.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in international relations, Business Administration, Tourism, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English. Additional language skills are a plus.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite in day-to-day tasks.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple demands simultaneously.
- Clear and structured communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment.
Why you will love working with us
More than just a job, we offer a career - and the benefits grow with you.
From day one, all EF team members enjoy:
- Benefits by law
As you grow through our career ladder, even more doors open. Depending on your level, you may also unlock:
- Global Mobile Office and national recognition events
- Famtrip nominations: travel to the USA, Europe and beyond
- Free language courses and international training nominations
- Hub Office visits with training and networking opportunities
- Leadership development programs and international kickoffs
Benefits vary by career level and are subject to local labor laws and business eligibility criteria.
