The Role

  • Gain hands-on experience across Civmec's corporate divisions and major engineering projects.
  • Work alongside experienced industry professionals and learn from subject matter experts.
  • Contribute to meaningful projects that deliver real business and project outcomes.
  • Apply your academic knowledge in a practical, real-world environment.
  • Develop technical skills, industry knowledge, and professional confidence.
  • Build valuable connections with engineers, leaders, and industry professionals.

  • Gain insight into the day-to-day responsibilities of engineering professionals.
  • Experience the unique FIFO lifestyle and working environment on remote project sites (where applicable).

 

About You

  • Currently studying Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Structural Engineering.
  • Available to undertake a full-time, 12-week internship between November and February.
  • Demonstrates strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Possesses excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment and can build positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute to meaningful projects in a professional setting.
