About the Role
Job Overview

Ebenezer is looking for an Intern to join our team at the Ebenezer Corporate Office in Edina, MN! The overall scope of the internship is to provide a broad base of knowledge about long-term care operations in Assisted Living as well as exposure to specific location operations, which will help the intern develop a unique style of leadership. In addition, during this time the intern will build relationships and connections with their community to gain experience.

This internship schedule includes;

  • On call/Casual
  • Day shifts available
  • Weekends as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Complete the Executive Director Orientation Training Packet with the Executive Director to ensure proficient experience and understanding in all areas:

    • Fairview Website
    • Building
    • HR/Onboarding
    • Safety
    • Meetings
    • Budget Overview
    • Eldermark
    • Resident Agreement
    • Licenses
    • Contracts Training/ Development Opportunities
    • Sales and Marketing
    • Memory Care
    • Clinical
  • Spend time with each departmental director to learn and understand the responsibilities of each department at the community.
  • Complete assigned tasks and projects to assist the Executive Director. Including, but not limited to, administration, accounts payable, accounts receivable, human resources, and staffing duties.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and directed.
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Basic computer skills: MS Office, word processing, spreadsheets & database management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.S./B.A. LTC Administration, Management, Human Services or related
  • Masters in Business Admin Advanced Degree: List - MBA
  • less than 1 year None to 1 Year - successful occupancy development experience
  • Experience in presentations using PowerPoint

The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
