Job Summary

The BI & Analytics Intern supports the Commercial team through data analysis, reporting, business intelligence initiatives, and performance tracking activities. This role provides hands-on exposure to business analytics, KPI management, commercial reporting, and strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will contribute to initiatives that improve business performance, support commercial objectives, and drive data-informed decisions while developing practical experience in a corporate telecommunications environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly commercial reporting activities.
Collect, validate, clean, organize, and maintain business data from multiple sources.
Support dashboard updates and KPI reporting initiatives.
Maintain and monitor key performance indicator (KPI) trackers.
Conduct research and ad hoc data analysis to support business objectives.
Analyze customer, product, and market performance data to identify trends and insights.
Prepare reports, presentations, executive summaries, and analytical findings for management review.
Support product performance, adoption, and commercial effectiveness reporting.
Assist with customer analytics and market intelligence initiatives.
Contribute to strategic reporting and business performance reviews.
Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Generate actionable insights and recommendations to support business growth and decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support commercial and business objectives.
Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of business and customer data.

Education & Experience

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, or a related analytical discipline.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to interpret, analyze, and present data effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred

Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar reporting and analytics tools.
Experience with data visualization and dashboard reporting.
Basic understanding of statistical analysis techniques.
Experience working with large datasets.
Interest in business intelligence, commercial analytics, strategy, and performance management.
Exposure to telecommunications, business operations, or commercial environments is considered an asset.

Office-based work environment.

Standard office equipment and Microsoft 365 applications will be used regularly.

Salary Scale

Monthly Stipend: GYD $120,000
