Job Summary

The Commercial Intern supports the Home & Fixed Services team through commercial reporting, operational coordination, product support activities, and customer experience initiatives. This role provides hands-on exposure to telecommunications operations, product management, revenue optimization, business analytics, and commercial strategy. The successful candidate will contribute to initiatives that improve product performance, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes while developing practical experience in a corporate telecommunications environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly commercial reporting activities.
  • Conduct weekly reviews and updates of company website content.
  • Monitor and follow up on ServiceNow requests through to resolution.
  • Support performance tracking and reporting for Home & Fixed products and services.
  • Assist with fibre upgrade campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Support billing reviews and promotional discount management processes.
  • Research competitor activities, market trends, and industry developments.
  • Assist with revenue-generating and customer experience improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, executive summaries, and management updates.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to commercial leadership teams.
  • Support business planning, operational projects, and departmental initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and service delivery.
  • Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of business, operational, and customer information.
  • Assist with identifying opportunities to improve processes, operational efficiency, and customer experience.

Education & Experience

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Communications, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred

  • Exposure to commercial operations, product management, business analytics, or customer experience initiatives.
  • Basic reporting, data analysis, or business research experience.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar enterprise systems is an asset.
  • Interest in telecommunications products, services, and commercial strategy.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite in an academic or professional setting.

Working Conditions

Office-based work environment.

Standard office equipment and Microsoft 365 applications will be used regularly.

The role requires prolonged periods of sitting and working with reports, business systems, operational data, and administrative tasks.

Regular interaction with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the organization.

Salary Scale

Monthly Stipend: GYD $120,000

The successful candidate will receive practical experience, professional mentorship, and exposure to commercial operations, product management, customer experience initiatives, and telecommunications business processes within the telecommunications industry.
