Are you interested in starting a career in electronics manufacturing? Advanced Mission Partners, a wholly owned subsidiary of SSAI, is seeking a motivated Electronics Manufacturing Intern who is interested in beginning a career in electronics manufacturing and gaining hands-on experience in a professional production environment. This internship is designed for an individual who is eager to learn, enjoys working with their hands, and wants to develop the technical skills needed for a future career in electronics manufacturing, assembly, testing, or related fields.
Working alongside experienced manufacturing and technical staff, the intern will receive hands-on training and exposure to the processes, tools, equipment, and quality standards used to manufacture electronic products and components. Prior electronics manufacturing experience is not required -- we are looking for someone with a strong interest in learning and developing new skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the assembly and testing of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic systems.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to support daily manufacturing operations.
- Help develop and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting on electronic assemblies and components.
- Maintain accurate documentation for production activities, test results, and quality checks.
- Support inventory management of components and materials used in production.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing or 5S practices.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work both in a team as well as an individual setting.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to touch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear and occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
