Overview

TraceLink is seeking an IT intern that will assist the IT Team with day-to-day operations and special projects.  This dynamic environment will provide the individual with a wide variety of technologies and solutions in a high-growth, global, cloud-first company.

Responsibilities:

         Build and deploy Windows and Mac laptops for end users

         Peripheral setup for office cubicles (Monitors, Docking Stations, Keyboards)

         Perform secure DoD (Department of Defense) wipes on returned laptops and log assets in inventory system

         Interaction with end users to troubleshoot IT issues via ticket system

         Create user accounts in Active Directory & SaaS systems

         Assist in identifying opportunities for AI-driven automation and process improvements within IT workflows

Skills and Requirements:

 

         Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills

         Strong documentation skills

         Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required

         Fast Learner who quickly absorb and communicate information clearly. 

         Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

         Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highly dynamic, fast changing, and fluid work environment

         Strong customer service orientation

         Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

         Knowledge of basic computer hardware with networking TCP/IP  & Experience with Windows 11 and MacOS

         Basic knowledge of office productivity applications (MS Office/Office 365, Google G Suite, Jira, etc.)

         Familiarity with Git and general experience working with version-controlled repositories.

         Interest in scripting, release automation, and container deployments (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes) a plus

         Familiarity with AI tools and interest in applying AI for IT automation and process improvement a plus
