About the role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Apprentice to join our People team for a structured 12-month apprenticeship. This full-time apprenticeship is designed for someone who wants to build a strong foundation for a career in recruitment.

Apprentices will work on real hiring initiatives that directly contribute to building high-performing teams, supported by mentorship, practical training, and structured learning throughout the programme. They will work alongside experienced Talent Acquisition professionals while developing practical knowledge of sourcing, candidate engagement, recruitment operations, interview coordination, applicant tracking systems, and data-driven hiring practices.

Responsibilities
  • Understand hiring requirements, job descriptions, and candidate profiles to support recruitment across various functions
  • Source and identify relevant candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and internal talent databases
  • Conduct initial candidate screening and assess candidates against defined role requirements
  • Support candidate outreach, engagement, and follow-ups throughout the recruitment process
  • Coordinate interviews and ensure a smooth candidate experience across different stages of the hiring process
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Specialists and Hiring Managers to understand hiring priorities and support recruitment initiatives
  •  Assist with recruitment reporting, pipeline tracking 


Requirements
  • Recent graduates in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Commerce, or a related field
  • Strong interest in building a career in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good problem-solving and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, online research tools, and technology
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior internship experience in recruitment, human resources, talent acquisition, or a related field is preferred

     


Nice to have
  • Basic understanding of recruitment and hiring processes
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, job boards, or applicant tracking systems
  • Experience working with Google Sheets/Excel and recruitment data
  • Exposure to sourcing, candidate screening, or interview coordination
  • Interest in leveraging AI and automation to improve recruitment processes
