Job Description:

Full Circle is seeking an Administrative Intern to support the various operational departments and teams. Specific duties of the Intern are likely to include:

  • Archiving outdated documents, identifying final documents and organizing folders.
  • Establishing and maintaining uniform drive folder structures and file naming conventions.
  • Identifying cross-departmental folders and linking them for easier retrieval.
  • Participating in departmental meetings to prepare long term organizational file restructuring.


Qualifications and Skills:

Applicants must have an inquisitive mind, strong aptitude for organization, and will bring flexibility and energy to their activities. They must display professional written and verbal communication skills and will thrive in diverse settings, whether in data entry and analysis or engaging with various departments. Preferred qualifications include the following:

  • Pursuing a degree
  • Relevant coursework in community development, non-profit administration, public policy, or similar
  • Self-starter with a strong attention to detail.
  • Aptitude in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, or similar. Compensation: $23 per hour.


During this internship, interns will develop a basic understanding of affordable housing operations as well as applied skills in cross-departmental strategy and collaboration and the type of writing and communication skills required in varied professional settings.


Full Circle Communities, Inc. currently has ownership/affiliated interests in and/or manages over 1,500 apartment units in Illinois, Iowa and Michigan. We are located in Chicago, Illinois, in West Loop near UIC. Our corporate office functions in a relaxed, business casual environment. Remote and hybrid work options are available. 5-10 hours per week. The intern will work within the Asset Management Team, supervised by the Portfolio Performance Manager.
