Job Description

Visa is seeking a highly motivated VAS Issuing Sales Intern to join the Value-Added Services (VAS) team. The VAS organization helps financial institutions accelerate growth, improve customer engagement, and enhance payment experiences through innovative solutions that go beyond core payments.

As a VAS Issuing Sales Intern, you will support the sales and business development efforts for Visa's Issuing Solutions portfolio. You will work closely with sales, product, strategy, and client-facing teams to help identify opportunities, analyze market trends, support client engagements, and contribute to initiatives that drive business growth.

This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the payments industry, sales strategy, product commercialization, and client relationship management within a global organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team in identifying growth opportunities across issuing clients.
  • Conduct market, client, and competitive research to support business development activities.
  • Assist in preparing client presentations, proposals, business cases, and sales materials.
  • Analyze business performance data and develop insights to support sales strategies.
  • Support pipeline tracking, opportunity management, and internal reporting activities.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, consulting, and cross-functional partners to help drive client engagement.
  • Participate in client meetings, internal strategy discussions, and solution development initiatives.
  • Help assess client needs and align Visa solutions to business opportunities.
  • Contribute to projects focused on product adoption, revenue growth, and client satisfaction.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Expected graduation date between December 2027 and Summer 2028.
  • Pursuing studies in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership through academic, extracurricular, or professional experiences.
  • Interest in sales, business development, consulting, financial services, and payments technology.
