Join us as a System Test Intern to make an impact!  

Location: Kallang

 

Kickstart your technical career with a role that offers real responsibility and real learning. As part of the System Test Team, you will contribute to test Schneider Electric's PLC products as a system, ensuring they meet quality, performance, and reliability standards before release. You will support testing activities across a diverse portfolio of products, collaborating with experienced engineers to execute test plans, analyze results, identify issues, and contribute to continuous product improvement.  

 

This role will provide valuable insight into how Schneider Electric verifies and validates competitive products, helping shape future innovations and ensuring our solutions remain at the forefront of industrial automation technologies. 

 

What will you do:

  • Develop, program, and maintain automated test applications and scripts to validate product usability, reliability, performance, and interface functionality.
  • Execute automated testing activities to improve testing efficiency, coverage, repeatability, and overall product quality.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects and performance issues, and support troubleshooting and root cause analysis to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, domain experts, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand product requirements and define effective testing strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance test automation frameworks, streamline testing processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, team collaboration, and quality enhancement activities that support the successful delivery of high-quality products and solutions.

 

What qualifications will make you successful:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation and software development, with hands-on experience or academic exposure to PLC programming (Ladder and Structured Text), Python, TestComplete, and JIRA.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
  • Self-motivated and proactive learner with the ability to work independently, adapt quickly to new technologies, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
