As part of the Strategy team, you will contribute to strategic transformation initiatives that strengthen operational excellence, enhance customer and employee experiences, and support sustainable business growth. 

 

You will partner with stakeholders across the organization to analyze performance, identify improvement opportunities, drive process simplification, and deliver impactful events and campaigns using data, automation, and digital solutions. 

 

What will you do:

Data Analysis & Insights 

  • Collect, consolidate, and analyse data from internal and external sources to support strategic decision-making. 
  • Develop summaries, reports, and data visualisations to track business and segment performance. 
  • Perform quantitative analysis on the new energy landscape market size, growth rates, market share, and customer trends. 
  • Identify emerging business opportunities, risks, and performance gaps through data-driven insights. 
  • Support the development of PAM sizing models for priority segments. 

Market Research & Industry Intelligence 

  • Conduct market research to evaluate industry trends, growth drivers, regulatory developments, and customer needs. 
  • Monitor developments in key focus areas on the new energy landscape such as e-mobility, sustainability, and energy transition. 
  • Gather insights on customer segments, end-user industries, and regional market dynamics. 
  • Track macroeconomic, technology, and policy trends impacting target segments. 

Competitor Benchmarking 

  • Analyse competitor strategies, market positioning, product portfolios, pricing models, and go-to-market approaches. 
  • Benchmark Schneider Electric's performance against key competitors across selected segments. 
  • Prepare competitor intelligence reports and executive summaries. 
  • Support the development of strategic recommendations based on competitive landscape assessments. 

Performance Tracking & Reporting 

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and segment growth metrics. 
  • Support monthly and quarterly business reviews by preparing performance reports and presentation materials. 
  • Track progress against business objectives, growth initiatives, and strategic priorities. 
  • Identify drivers behind performance trends and recommend improvement opportunities. 
  • Assist in maintaining scorecards and strategic tracking tools. 

Strategic Projects 

  • Support regional strategy projects and annual planning exercises. 
  • Participate in market attractiveness and business prioritisation assessments. 
  • Assist in preparing executive-level presentations and strategy decks. 
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, business development, and segment leaders to gather insights and validate findings. 
  • Contribute to ad-hoc strategic studies and special projects as assigned. 

What qualifications will make you successful:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrates strong digital proficiency and a keen interest in leveraging technology to drive business outcomes.
  • Possesses good business acumen, with the ability to understand organizational objectives and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, supported by sound technical fundamentals and a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
