Our Breaking Barriers: Social Mobility Insight Day is designed for penultimate and final-year students from lower socio-economic backgrounds who are interested in careers in banking and finance at MUFG.

This immersive Insight Day will give you a deeper understanding of the financial services industry, combining interactive sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities with employees across the firm.

By taking part, you will:

  • Develop your understanding of the financial industry and how global banks operate
  • Gain insight into the range of roles available and how teams collaborate
  • Build your commercial awareness and confidence in a professional setting
  • Hear real career journeys to help you better understand routes into the industry

You will leave with a clearer sense of how your skills and experiences can translate into a career in finance, as well as a network of contacts within MUFG.

The programme also includes an overview of our internship and graduate opportunities, alongside practical advice to support you throughout the recruitment process.

The event will take place on 18 September 2026 from 14:00 to 16:30 at 25 Ropemaker Place.
