About the Role

Goal

Support assembly operations through failure analysis, technical documentation, time studies, continuous improvement initiatives, and performance monitoring to optimize production efficiency and line capacity.

Principal Activities

  • Production Support: Assist with the analysis of failures on assembly lines and optimization projects.
  • Technical Documentation: Support the creation, review, and updating of work instructions, visual aids, and SAP information.
  • Time and Motion Studies: Conduct time studies at assembly stations to identify bottlenecks and balance production lines.
  • Continuous Improvement Projects: Participate in Kaizen events and projects focused on reducing scrap, optimizing processes, and designing fixtures.
  • Capacity Analysis: Support the monitoring of key area performance indicators, including efficiency, OEE, and production plan compliance.

Experience, knowledge and skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of problem-solving tools, such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa, and 8D.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S, Kaizen, and Poka-Yoke.
  • Basic/intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks for interpreting or modifying layouts and drawings.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and chart creation.
  • Language: Intermediate English proficiency, including technical reading and comprehension.
