Intern ‐ Autonomation

(To be based at Biyagama)

Key Responsibilities

  • PLC and HMI Programming
  • Firmware development (C, C++, Arduino, STM)
  • Knowledge on industrial components
  • SOLIDWORKS Designing
  • Prototyping, manufacturing, and mechanical device testing procedures 
  • Standard component selection
  • Panel board wiring and assembly
  • Mechanical assembly and Component Fabrication
  • Fabrication processes (CNC, Milling, Drilling, 3D printing)
  • Design & soldering PCB
  • Customer and supplier engagement skills
  • Project management


Qualifications, Experience, Skill, and Competencies:

  • Undergraduates or postgraduates from Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Qualifications in lean or project management is an addition
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills for minutes taking and reporting.
