What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a People Operations Intern within our HR bussiness function. This position falls under our Cross-Border payments solutions line of business and is located in London. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across the employee lifecycle while supporting projects that enhance employee experience, operational excellence, and organizational culture. You will report directly to HR Manager and regularly collaborate with the People Operations team, People & Culture partners, employees, and leadership stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supporting onboarding activities for new hires, including documentation, induction scheduling, and pre-joining communications
  • Assisting with employee changes, including promotions, transfers, and departures
  • Maintaining accurate employee records within HR systems
  • Supporting offboarding processes and employee exit administration
  • Managing employee documentation and digital personnel files
  • Assisting with employment letters and People Team correspondence
  • Ensuring employee records are maintained in compliance with company policies and data protection requirements
  • Responding to routine employee queries and directing requests to appropriate team members
  • Supporting the preparation of people metrics and operational dashboards
  • Assisting with data validation, reporting, and record audits
  • Analysing trends and preparing recommendations for process improvements
  • Creating presentations and reports for leadership stakeholders
  • Reviewing existing People Operations processes and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Assisting with documenting standard operating procedures and process guides
  • Supporting automation and continuous improvement projects
  • Presenting findings and recommendations at the conclusion of the internshipu
     

Qualifications & Skills

  • Currently studying or recently completed studies in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • Interest in People Operations, People & Culture, HR administration, employee experience, or organizational development
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Good communication skills and confidence in working with employees and internal stakeholders
  • Comfortable working with data, reporting, documentation, and digital systems
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proactive, motivated, and willing to learn in a fast-paced People function
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
