The Role

  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors, answering phones, managing correspondence, and supporting building security protocols.
  • Provide administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle, including pre-employment activities, onboarding, orientation, and offboarding.
  • Support HR processes and systems, including I-9 documentation, employee records, FMLA paperwork, ADP updates, and data tracking.
  • Manage employee and contractor building access, including badge creation, updates, audits, and deactivation.
  • Serve as a resource for employee questions and appropriately route HR and payroll inquiries.
  • Coordinate new hire apparel inventory and distribution and assist with plant paycheck distribution.
  • Provide scheduling and administrative support for internal interviews and other HR activities.
  • Support plant events and internal communications by creating flyers, updating presentations, and maintaining digital signage across facilities.

Schedule: 

  • Monday-Friday 7am-3pm (flexible)
  • Fall/Winter Internship

What You’ll Bring

Essential Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program, ideally with a focus in HR Management, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or similar. 
  • Professional and positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong teamwork, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships
  • Demonstrates curiosity, initiative, and sound judgment in problem-solving situations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office®, particularly Excel
