Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our Value Access & Policy (VAP) department to help achieve our goals of providing value and enhance market access for patients through innovative solutions and pricing policies.


As a market access intern, you will collaborate with our VAP and cross functional teams in various stages of market access solution and initiative development and implementation. This internship will help you acquire market access skills in a science-based environment and provide you with knowledge of various market access strategies. You will gain experience in working in a fast paced and dynamic teamwork environment.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific duties include, but may not be limited to:

  • Develop collaterals for patient support programs.
  • Provide project management assistance for innovative access initiatives and patient education projects.
  • Review resources from global and summarizes them into key messages for value story materials for cross functional team and ensure accurate referencing on the materials.
  • Support in quarterly review of pricing and PSPs to ensure governance is in place.


Additional Opportunities:

  • Participate in and learn about the new product launch planning including launch meetings.
  • Learn how to engage with healthcare professionals and patients through patient program implementation
  • Learn to identify, gather and analyze data to gain a deeper understanding of the customer, brand, disease area and healthcare landscapes in Singapore and Malaysia; diverse thinking with innovative ideas to maximize opportunities for enhancing patient access
  • Learn about other functions in the organizations, eg medical, clinical research, regulatory, marketing and sales through collaborations

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical science, life-science, business or marketing.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Very task oriented.
  • Self-starter.
  • Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
