Growing Futures offers Early Head Start, Head Start, and Community Child Care options for children 0-5 and their families. Enrolled families also have access to a variety of comprehensive support services including health and nutrition services, mental health, dental health, family advocacy, and family engagement opportunities. Today we serve over 250 low-income children and their families with Early Head Start and Head Start programs. In addition, we offer opportunities for any family to benefit from our quality early education program with competitive rates and no income eligibility requirements.

  • Assist with volunteer group coordination and support community engagement efforts
  • Represent Growing Futures at local networking events, including Johnson County Chamber of Commerce gatherings
  • Support the Marketing Coordinator and broader development team with communications and fundraising activities

What We’re Looking For

  • Interest in early childhood education, nonprofit work, or serving the community

  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Organized, dependable, proactive, and willing to take initiative
  • Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn preferred
  • Canva or basic photo-editing experience is a plus
