About the Role
Bohler’s Tampa, FL office, supporting projects throughout the Tampa metropolitan area, is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to support our Construction Administration team. You’ll gain firsthand exposure to the construction phase of land development projects and how design teams and contractors work together in the field.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and project-related correspondence.
- Participate in site visits and help document site observations.
- Support pre-construction activities, punch lists, and permit coordination.
- Help maintain project logs, trackers, and other project documentation.
- Support coordination between contractors, Construction Administration professionals, and design teams.
- Assist project teams in addressing construction-related questions and issues.
What You’ll Gain

What You’ll Bring
- A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Initiative and the ability to coordinate effectively with other members of the project team.
Build practical Construction Administration experience at Bohler while seeing firsthand how civil projects move from design into construction.
