Position Summary:
The 340B Business Development Intern supports the Business Development and 340B teams by assisting with market research, prospect identification, account targeting, data organization, outreach preparation, and business development initiatives related to 340B covered entities, contract pharmacy opportunities, specialty pharmacy partnerships, and related healthcare growth strategies. This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to healthcare business development, 340B program fundamentals, pharmacy operations, compliance considerations, and client-facing growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct research to identify potential 340B covered entities, Federally Qualified Health Centers, hospitals, health systems, clinics, and other healthcare organizations that may benefit from 340B-related services.
· Support prospect list development by collecting, validating, organizing, and maintaining account and contact information in spreadsheets, CRM tools, or other approved systems.
· Assist with preparation for outreach campaigns, including account briefs, call lists, email drafts, meeting materials, and follow-up tracking.
· Learn and apply basic knowledge of the 340B Drug Pricing Program, contract pharmacy models, specialty pharmacy services, managed care considerations, and healthcare market trends.
· Assist with competitive research, territory analysis, pipeline reporting, and identification of potential business opportunities.
· Participate in internal meetings, training sessions, and project discussions; document notes, action items, and next steps as assigned.
· Collaborate with Business Development, pharmacy operations, compliance, managed care, and other internal stakeholders to support growth initiatives.
· Maintain confidentiality of company, client, prospect, and patient-related information in accordance with company policies and applicable privacy and compliance requirements.
· Complete special projects and administrative tasks as assigned to support 340B business development objectives, or other sales related projects/initiatives.

Skills and Qualification Requirements:
· Senior standing in a four-year business degree program, such as business administration, finance, marketing, healthcare management, or a related business discipline.
· Strong interest in healthcare, pharmacy services, 340B, healthcare policy, business development, sales operations, or market research.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
· Ability to research, organize, and analyze information with attention to accuracy and detail.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and service-oriented approach.
· Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and follow direction in a fast-paced environment.
· Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, accountability, and willingness to learn.
Preferred Requirements:
· Comfort working with data, contact lists, market maps, presentations, and written business communications.
