About the Role

This role supports Curriculum Innovation & Development (CID) and Teaching & Educational Development (TED) in coordinating data collection, ensuring data quality, and supporting reporting and project implementation. This role contributes to evidence-informed decision-making by providing accurate, timely, and well-organised data and insights.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Coordination & Quality Support

  • Act as the key coordination point for data collection, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and complete submissions.
  • Check, compile, and validate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of data quality processes and templates.
  • Monitor data submission channels and repositories, ensuring proper documentation and organisation.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of reports and data updates.

 

2. Reporting & Data Support (CID & TED)

  • Support the preparation of regular reports and dashboards for curriculum monitoring, teaching evaluation, and institutional reporting.
  • Assist in data cleaning, consolidation, and basic analysis to support reporting needs.
  • Generate clear summaries and visualisations to support decision-making.
  • Maintain and update standard reporting formats and datasets.

 

3. Project & Operational Support

  • Support the tracking and reporting of CID and TED initiatives (e.g., curriculum updates, assessment initiatives, teaching enhancement activities).
  • Provide coordination support for projects involving Schools and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing slides, reports, and documentation for meetings and governance platforms.

 

4. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work with academic and professional teams to follow up on data requests and clarify submission requirements.
  • Communicate updates and requirements clearly to ensure smooth data collection and reporting processes.
  • Support teams in understanding data requirements and reporting expectations.

 

5. Other Responsibilities

  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the line manager or department from time to time.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • Relevant experience in data coordination, reporting, or analytics support.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Working knowledge of SQL or data handling tools is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with data platforms or cloud environments is a plus (not mandatory).
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Good organisation, coordination, and time management skills.
  • Clear communication skills to engage with different stakeholders.
