About the Opportunity:

The Human Resources Intern position is a temporary role for a student pursuing an education and career in Human Resources. The individual in this role will gain exposure to standard Human Resources processes and systems through working on assigned projects. 

Location: Thomasville, GA

 Responsibilities:

  • Support the site Human Resources Manager with a variety of administrative Human Resources tasks including personnel file creation and maintenance
  • Assist with changing/updating Human Resources documents
  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive employee data and documents
  • Track and document employment related data such as training records
  • Provide Human Resources support through administrative activities 
  • Assist in conducting proactive data audits and correct any findings
  • Other job-related tasks assigned by the supervisor


 Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Current enrollment in or graduation from a degree/certificate program for a related field
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of introductory coursework in Human Resources
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

 

Working Conditions

  • This individual will spend most of their time working within an air-conditioned office but may spend some time on the production floor
  • Frequent activities: sitting, typing, talking/listening, walking, reading
  • Occasional activities: lifting up to 15 lbs.



Monday through Friday standard office hours with some flexibility in the exact schedule to accommodate for class times.
