About the Role

Love's College Intern Program

The Love’s college internship program is frequently referred to as the best in Oklahoma City. This rapidly growing program provides opportunities for students in multiple areas of the business to receive employee level experience, not just busy work. Students also gain valuable knowledge that they can’t get in a classroom; they are guided through proper etiquette of a professional corporate setting. Over the course of the summer, Love’s interns also participate in the following activities:

BASIC PURPOSE

The CX Strategy and Research team at Love's is looking for a student interested in Customer Experience (CX) and Voice of the Customer (VoC) programs for a summer internship. The intern will assist with customer feedback measurement, reporting, and insight generation across surveys, reviews, mystery shopping, and other customer listening channels. This role provides hands-on experience using customer feedback to inform business decisions and improve the customer experience.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Learn the customer experience programs and tools used at Love's
  • Assist with analyzing customer feedback from surveys, reviews, and other listening channels
  • Evaluate how customer issues are routed, tracked, and resolved
  • Support reporting, dashboard development, and presentation creation
  • Identify customer trends, themes, and opportunities for improvement
  • Generate process maps, gap analysis, best practices
  • Assist with testing and quality assurance
  • Present findings and support stakeholder communications
  • Other duties assigned as needed

GAIN EXPERIENCE WITH

  • Voice of the Customer (VoC) program

  • Cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Marketing, Loyalty, and Analytics teams

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Currently enrolled in a four-year university program, sophomore level or above (pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Customer Experience, Data Analytics, Psychology, Market Research, Statistics, or a related field)

Experience

  • Previous internship experience is a plus but not required
  • Experience with research, analytics, survey tools, or customer feedback programs is a plus

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Hard Skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Basic data analysis and reporting skills
  • Familiarity with survey or feedback platforms is a plus

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in customer experience and data-driven decision making

Typical Physical Demands

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
