About the Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to support the Procurement team in daily purchasing operations, supplier coordination, and data analysis activities. This internship offers valuable exposure to sourcing, supplier management, procurement processes, and cross-functional collaboration within a global organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in processing purchase requisitions (PRs) and creating purchase orders (POs) in ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Support supplier communications, including quotation requests, delivery follow-ups, and documentation collection.
  • Maintain and update supplier databases, procurement records, and sourcing documentation.
  • Track purchase orders and monitor delivery status to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Assist in supplier price comparisons, cost analysis, and sourcing projects.
  • Support contract administration, including filing and maintaining procurement-related agreements and records.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Project Teams to support procurement requirements.
  • Prepare procurement reports, spend analysis, supplier performance tracking, and other data-driven insights.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procurement procedures.
  • Support ad hoc projects and initiatives assigned by the Procurement team.

Qualifications

Required

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Business Administration
    • Engineering
    • Operations Management
    • Finance or related disciplines
  • Available to work at least 3-4 days per week for a minimum of 3 months.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
