Intern-Logistics Operations Coordinator

Labcorp is seeking an Intern-Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our team at in Shanghai, China.

Internship Details:

  • Duration: 20 weeks, full-time/Onsite
  • Dates of Internship: Dec 2026-May 2027
  • Compensation: Paid internship
  • Eligibility: Final-year students who are expected to graduate in July 2027 are preferred.  However, students at all academic levels who are pursuing relevant fields of study are encouraged to apply.

About Team:

During this internship, the selected candidate will join the China Logistics team and gain hands-on experience in Logistics Operations. The intern will work closely with external service providers, including customs brokers and domestic/international transportation vendors, to develop an understanding of China customs clearance processes and support the coordination of smooth and compliant logistics operations across both domestic and international shipments.

Internship Assignment Summary:

  • Review and maintain documentation on China import/export requirements, cooperate with China Customs during on-site inspections and subsequent regulatory supervision.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support in day-to-day logistics specific departmental activities.
  • Assist to follow up with transportation vendors and internal stakeholders on inquiries, if necessary.
  • Manage and track the validity of certificates, confirming with the lab before expiration whether renewal is needed.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Current enrollment in a Supply Chain or Logistics Bachelor's degree program.
  • 3 months or more experience using computer and office software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)

  • Able to organize data and documents effectively.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Good communication skills when interacting with our Project Managers and external vendors.
  • Creative and self-motivated individuals who work collaboratively in a high-performance team environment.
