Interns will be allocated to different Actuarial teams and be exposed to various actuarial functions, which include:

  • Product Implementation: Involve in the actual implementation of new product launch with participation in model update and supporting UAT
  • Channel Support: Liaises with different department/ channel support to handle special quotation and ad hoc enquiries from other departments
  • Experience Monitoring: Perform experience and data analysis investigations
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Participate in regular financial reporting of business results across various reporting metrics. Support the implementation of the new accounting standard for insurance contracts (IFRS 17).
  • Participating Business Management: Participate in Par fund management, including asset shares calculation, bonus review and other projects
  • Capital Management: Assist in capital adequacy under RBC basis and impacts assessment of different capital management initiatives.
  • Modelling and Innovation: Support the maintenance, development, and enhancement of actuarial models.
